Tomato-Soy Juice Shows Promise Against Chronic Inflammation

A simple juice made from tomatoes and soybeans may help lower harmful inflammation linked with obesity and chronic disease, according to a new clinical study published in Molecular Nutrition & Food Research
Researchers from The Ohio State University and the United States Department of Agriculture found that adults with obesity who drank tomato-soy juice daily for four weeks showed reductions in several inflammation-related markers inside the body.

Scientists say the findings are important because chronic low-grade inflammation is increasingly linked with obesity, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and other long-term illnesses.

Rather than focusing on supplements alone, researchers are now studying whether combinations of everyday foods may quietly influence inflammation and overall  health over time.
